A study conducted by Stanford University in 2013 assigned random work employees at a call center to work from home and assigned other work employees to work in the office for nine months. After the end of the study, there was a 13% performance increase from those employees that worked from home.

One of the main reasons why many people criticize working remotely is because it can be challenging to measure the number of hours a person works while working remotely.  What many people don’t get is that going to the office every day does not equal productive work.

We have heard it over and over again that as an employer, you should hire the best people for a specific task.
